Bradenton Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash On I-75

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. An 84-year-old Bradenton man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Hillsborough County on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash occurred around 2:21 p.m. south of Big Bend Road.

The man was driving a Toyota Sienna southbound on I-75 when he lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The Sienna veered off the roadway, entered the median, and collided with a tree.

Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The FHP is investigating the cause of the crash, including any possible contributing factors such as a medical episode or vehicle malfunction.
