Brandon Traffic Alert: Northbound I-75 Ramp To SR 60 Closing Nightly For Roadwork

BRANDON, Fla. – Drivers heading north on Interstate 75 in Hillsborough County should be prepared for nightly ramp closures starting this Wednesday.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced that the northbound I-75 ramp to State Road 60 (Exit 257) will be closed nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, beginning Wednesday, January 8th, and continuing through Wednesday, January 15th.

These closures are necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs on I-75 between Progress Boulevard and Woodberry Road.

Detour Route:

Motorists needing to access SR 60 from northbound I-75 will be detoured to Exit 254. From there, they should continue straight at the fork, merge onto northbound US 301, and proceed north to SR 60.

FDOT will be using electronic message boards and signage to guide motorists through the detour. Drivers are urged to exercise caution while traveling through the work zone and be mindful of construction workers.
