Former President Donald Trump is long gone from the White House. But the “fake news” lingers on.

BREAKING NEWS: U.S. President Trump Impeached for a Second Time

The US House of Representatives voted to impeach President Trump on one article of impeachment on Wednesday, charging the outgoing president with inciting the January 6 attack on the US Capitol building.

The House vote makes Trump the first president in US history to be impeached twice.

The Senate will not convene until next week to hold a trial for the president, according to a spokesperson for Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

On Tuesday, Speaker Pelosi named nine House impeachment managers for Trump’s Senate trial after VP Pence said on Tuesday that he will not invoke the 25th Amendment at the House’s urging.

The vote to impeach passed the Democratic-controlled House 232 to 197, with 10-Republicans voting against the president.

The ten House Republican’s that voted for the impeachment of President Trump are:

  • Liz Cheney (WY)
  • Anthony Gonzalez (OH)
  • Jamie Herrera Beutler (WA)
  • John Katko (NY)
  • Adam Kinzinger (IL)
  • Peter Meijer (MI)
  • Dan Newhouse (WA)
  • Tom Rice (SC)
  • Fred Upton (MI)
  • David Valadao (CA)

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, from the House floor Wednesday said, “Now some have cited the metaphor that the president lit the flame, well they lit actual flames, actual fires!”, as Democrats’ grumbles gave way to boos and demands for order from the chairwoman.
