Investigators say the driver of the Chevy Tahoe attempted to make a left turn into a gas station parking lot. In doing so, the Tahoe entered the path of the oncoming motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries. A 36-year-old Crystal River woman who was a passenger in the Tahoe also sustained minor injuries.
