Buccaneers Banged Up Vs Rams. Martin Gramatica Predicts A Bucs Win

TAMPA, FL. – The Bucs go into their NFC Divisional Playoff game vs the Rams with game-time decisions on 2 of their 3 Pro Bowl offensive lineman. Center Ryan Jensen and right tackle Tristan Wirfs suffered ankle injuries in the NFC Wild Card win over the Eagles.

“They both moved around in individual drills,” Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said. “We didn’t put them in any team stuff so they wouldn’t get tripped on anything.”

The Rams have a strong front four led by All Pro Aaron Donald. In Week 3 in a 34-24 win over the Bucs, Donald had a sack and four quarterback hurries. Bucs QB Tom Brady knows that this may be their biggest test this season, regular and postseason.

“They (Rams) rush the passer well,” Brady said. They cover in the secondary, get a lot of turnovers, sack the quarterback and strip-sack. “They have a lot of great players. You have no plays off. You can’t take off.”

In that Week 3 matchup, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 4 touchdowns. Stafford had what seemed like all day to throw. Bucs edge rusher Shaq Barrett agrees and says that can’t happen again.

“We need to get more pressure,” Barrett said. “We need to be relentless in our effort to get to the quarterback, getting him off his spots, sacks, hits, pressures, anything to make him uncomfortable.”

I found former Bucs kicker Super Bowl Champion Martin Gramatica at Bucs practice on Friday. Martin predicts a Bucs win.

“What we’ve done here the last two seasons has been a lot of fun for me,” Brady said. “We’ve put ourselves in a good position. Now we have to go take advantage of it.”

“Bucs win, that’s all I can say,” Gramatica said. “It doesn’t matter if you win by 1 or 20. “The Rams looked really good last week, we looked amazing against Philly as well, so it’s going to be a tough game.”

Brady said he didn’t do anything extra this week outside of football. Nothing matters to the 7 time Super Bowl Champ than getting to play next week.

Bucs Rams kickoff at Raymond James Stadium is set for 3 pm Sunday.
