TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed wide receiver Spencer Schnell. Schnell (5-8, 180) played in one game for Tampa Bay in 2019 prior to spending a portion of the 2020 offseason with the Buccaneers.
He originally entered the league as a college free agent with Tampa Bay in 2019, recording seven receptions for 119 yards during the 2019 preseason.
The Elkhart, Indiana, native played collegiately at Illinois State, earning All-Missouri Valley first-team honors as a senior in 2018, with 872 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. Schnell will wear No. 83 for Tampa Bay.
