TAMPA, Fla. – Under Bucs head coach Todd Bowles and GM Jason Licht, the last five years have been the most successful stretch in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history. That’s why the Glazer family (owners) rewarded Bowles and Licht with multi-year contract extensions.
“Jason and Todd’s leadership has been critical to our organization’s success,” Said Bucs Owner/Co-Chairman Joel Glazer in a statement., “The winning culture they have established has us well positioned for the future.”

Since Bowles took over for Bruce Arians in 2022, Tampa Bay has won three straight NFC South titles and three consecutive playoff appearances. Bowles has 27 regular-season wins, which puts him right behind Arians at 31 for best all-time.
“I am excited to continue working with Jason for years to come as we build on the success we’ve enjoyed and keep reaching for even bigger and better goals.”
Licht, along with Arians, is responsible for securing the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Tom Brady, as well as key pieces that contributed to a Super Bowl win. Since Licht became GM of the Bucs, Tampa Bay has led the NFL in total snaps played (132,091) and games started (1,873) by players drafted in rounds 1-5 of the NFL Draft.

“I am very grateful to the Glazer family for the trust and belief they have shown in what we are doing here,” Licht said. “I am also very excited to continue to work alongside Todd well into the future as we continue our mission of finding and developing talented players and chasing additional championships for our fans.”
Licht has said numerous times that the Super Bowl Boat Parade on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa was the greatest day of his life and he would love to do it again.
