A California man, Justin Davidson, 46, has been indicted on one count of First-Degree Murder, a Class One Felony, in connection with the death of his wife, Danielle Crosbie-Davidson.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell made the announcement.

Danielle Crosbie-Davidson was discovered deceased in her room on June 11, 2025, at Eternal Springs of Gilbert, a long-term care facility where she was receiving treatment for advanced dementia.

Authorities say Justin Davidson, who had been visiting from California, was staying in the room with his wife at the time of her death.

Facility staff at Eternal Springs of Gilbert contacted Gilbert Police after finding Ms. Crosbie-Davidson deceased under what they deemed “concerning circumstances.” Subsequent investigations, including interviews and evidence review, led to Davidson’s arrest.

Davidson is currently being held on a one-million-dollar bond. A trial has been tentatively scheduled for February 2026.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has not released further details regarding the nature of the “concerning circumstances” or the evidence that led to the indictment. Eternal Springs of Gilbert is a facility offering assisted living and memory care services.
