Citrus County Traffic Alert: FDOT District 7 Lane Closure Summary For July 19-25

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Citrus County should expect delays next week due to scheduled maintenance and road work. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 announced daytime lane closures at two major locations starting Monday, July 20, and running through Friday, July 24.

On US 41 (North Florida Avenue) at East 127th Avenue, crews will close lanes daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, drivers traveling on County Road 39 (East Withlacoochee Trail) will encounter lane closures and flagging operations. The affected zone stretches from North Big Bass Trail to just west of East Tasha Court. This work is scheduled daily between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

FDOT did not include specific quotes in the release. Commuters are advised to budget extra travel time or seek alternate routes during these active work hours.
