Clearwater Police Seek Additional Victims In Scheming To Defraud Case

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police economic crimes detectives are asking for the public’s help in the aftermath of the arrest of an appliance salesman.

Three victims have been identified so far, and detectives believe there could be more. His transactions originated either in his appliance store at 1484 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. or online at Facebook Marketplace.

Holecek either would not deliver items that had been paid for or would deliver items that were shoddy or not working. A repair technician who worked for him said he would sell and deliver appliances that he knew were not working or were in bad shape.

Anyone who has been a victim or knows someone who has been a victim should call Clearwater Police at 727-562-4319.
