CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police detectives are investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday at the Regions Bank located at 715 S. Fort Harrison Ave at 11:19 am.
Police say a lone suspect, who was armed with a gun, entered the bank and demanded money. After obtaining the cash, the suspect immediately fled the location. Authorities confirmed no injuries were reported.
The Clearwater Police Department has released a description of the individual they are searching for.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt with a design on the front, and a gray long-sleeve shirt layered over it. Police say the man also wore a baseball hat, sunglasses, and a COVID-style mask.
Police are urging the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding this suspect or the robbery.
