PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – On November 26, 2013, at approximately 10:50 pm, 23-year-old Quantrell Keller, was shot and killed at his home located in Holiday Florida.

The suspect was described as a short, stocky Hispanic male between 20 to 25 years old.

In 2019, 6 years after the murder, Keller’s mother, Barbara Keller, launched a petition on change.org to push investigators on the case.

“November 27, 2013, the day that changed my life forever. It was the morning Pasco County Sheriff’s Office informed me that my child had been murdered. I can’t even begin to explain the feeling that came over me. All I remember thinking was, they obviously have the wrong person, this was not happening to me not my son, not my baby,” said Barbara Keller.

“I don’t remember much after that. The loss of a child is like no other loss, as parents we expect our children to outlive us, there is nothing worse than parents that have to bury a child. My heart will never heal from this loss, this is a heartache that I will take to my grave. No parent should have to bury their child especially when it comes from a senseless act of violence.

“I had spoken with my son earlier on the evening of November 26, 2013. It was two days before Thanksgiving. We had plans to have lunch the following week. A lunch that I will never get to have with him. My son’s last words to me were “I Love You Ma”

Every day I hear him saying those words to me. It’s all I have left to help comfort me. I cry every day just as I did the first time I heard the news,” Barbara Keller said in the petition.
