The FHP report indicates that the driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection, causing the front of the Tesla to collide with the left side of the Nissan.
The impact caused both vehicles to spin before coming to a stop on the shoulders of Landover Boulevard. The driver of the Nissan Rogue was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, where she later died. The driver of the Tesla sustained minor injuries.
The FHP has not released the names of the individuals involved.
