The U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office converged on a Santa Rosa Beach home on Mussett Bayou Court at 5:30 a.m. Friday to execute a high-priority search warrant.
The operation targeted Pablo Rocco Forenza, a man wanted on felony warrants out of Grand Junction, Colorado.
The charges against Forenza involve the sexual assault of a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and the possession of sexually exploitative materials. These warrants included nationwide extradition orders, signaling the severity of the allegations and the necessity of his return to Colorado.
Forenza, who identifies as a “sovereign citizen,” gave himself up at the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Law enforcement on the scene observed that his vehicle was displaying a fictitious license plate.
