Columbia University: Race Is Not Biological And Women Are ‘People With Uteruses’

President Joe Biden and some of his fellow Democrats have taken to calling women “birthing people.”

Columbia University has given it a twist.

In its effort to combat “bias,” the medical school at the elite Ivy League college issued guidelines that urged actual medical professionals to say “people with uteruses” instead of “women” – “if the relevant point is about the presence of a uterus rather than the person’s expressed gender identity.”

But there’s more.

The crux of that recommendation, from reportedly the fifth-best medical school in the country, was to “be mindful of language, attitudes, and behavior.”

In that vein, Columbia told faculty, students, and administrators to avoid “stereotypes” in using examples, such as “consistently referring to nurses as ‘she’” – even though 90 percent of nurses are women, or perhaps people with uteruses.

Yet there’s still more.

In its effort to promote an “anti-bias, anti-racist, and inclusive curriculum,” Columbia told actual physicians and aspiring doctors that “race is a social construct.”

In other words, race is “a human-invented classification system. It was invented as a way to define physical differences between people” – such as actual differences in the pigment of their skin – “but has more often been used as a tool for oppression and violence.”

“Racial categories (i.e., ‘black’ or ‘white’) reflect social conventions rather than meaningful biological distinctions,” Columbia’s guidelines continue.

“It is important to understand and convey race as a social construct to avoid perpetuating the false notion that differences in health outcomes along racial lines are due to biological differences between races.

But yet these would be some of the same people who have spent the past year telling America it was racist because, for some reason, the coronavirus affected black and brown people far differently and far worse than whites.

Above all else, Columbia says, “Educators should strive to use precise, accurate language.”

Sure. Use “precise” language, but deny reality.

  1. So according to these people women who have had their uterus removed for medical reasons are no longer women?

  2. COLUMBIA, like most universities is NOT ABOUT ACADEMIC EDUCATION, ONLY INDOCTRINATION , Whose purpose is about turning brains to MUSH!
