A veteran-led rescue organization is currently managing its most geographically complex mission to date. Project DYNAMO, an international group known for extracting U.S. citizens from high-risk environments, has deployed teams across Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates to assist Americans caught in the middle of rising regional instability.
The organization reports that it has received over 100 requests for help in the last few days. These calls for assistance come from a wide range of individuals, including solo travelers and a large group of 60 people attempting to find a safe path out of the region. So far, the teams have provided direct aid to more than 100 people, ranging from providing real-time guidance to functioning airports to physically transporting families to secure locations.
According to the group, the situation remains fluid. While some travelers have managed to secure seats on limited commercial flights that are intermittently resuming, many others remain stranded as travel routes and security conditions shift without warning.
“Our teams are actively monitoring the situation and assisting Americans who suddenly found themselves in a very dangerous and uncertain environment,” said Mario Duarte, president and CEO of Project DYNAMO. Duarte noted that the people seeking help represent a cross-section of travelers, including professionals on business trips, families on vacation, and even a couple from Texas who were celebrating their wedding anniversary when the regional situation deteriorated.
Founded and operated by U.S. military veterans, Project DYNAMO has a history of conducting rescues in conflict zones such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Haiti. To date, the organization has evacuated more than 7,500 people from various global disasters and war zones.
As requests for help continue to pour in from other neighboring countries, the organization is looking to expand its footprint to meet the demand. Team members currently on the ground remain engaged in active operations to ensure those seeking safety can reach home.
Individuals requiring evacuation assistance are being directed to the organization’s official website to submit formal requests.
