Local Organizations Unite to Combat Food Insecurity
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office, in a continuing effort to support the community, is once again partnering with several local organizations to host a free food distribution event on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The upcoming event will take place at Refuge Church, located at 5320 Palmetto Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34652.
This vital community initiative is a collaborative effort, bringing together the Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Farm Share, Refuge Church, the Gentlemen’s Course, and the Pasco County NAACP. The aim is to provide much-needed food resources to families and individuals in Pasco County facing food insecurity.

Community members are encouraged to arrive early, as the distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. These collaborative food distributions have become a regular and highly anticipated event in Pasco County, demonstrating a strong commitment from local agencies and non-profits to address critical needs within the community.
The partnership with Farm Share, a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger, ensures a substantial amount of fresh and nutritious food will be available.
