The Florida Lottery confirmed that Yesenia Gonzalez Sandoval, 27, won $1,000,000 playing the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game. She purchased the winning ticket at Mr. K Food Store, located at 6645 S.E. Babcock Street in Malabar, before claiming her prize at Lottery Headquarters on August 4.
Faced with the choice between an annuity or an immediate payout, Sandoval opted for the cash. She took home a one-time, lump-sum payment totaling $640,000.00.
