Convicted Felon In Orlando Gets Over 6 Years For Firearm Possession

ORLANDO, Fla – Reginald Dugger, Jr., 42, of Orlando, has been sentenced to six years and six months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

U.S. District Judge John Antoon II also ordered Dugger to forfeit a Rock Island Armory revolver, a Palmetto State Armory rifle, and associated ammunition seized from his home on February 29, 2024. Dugger pleaded guilty on May 21, 2024.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents executed a federal search warrant at Dugger’s residence on February 29, 2024, and discovered a currency counter, drugs, and two loaded firearms in plain view.

Dugger’s prior felony convictions prohibited him from possessing firearms or ammunition under federal law.
