Landmark Partnership to Fund Free Attendance for Injured Officers at the 5th Annual National Law Enforcement Survival Summit
In a show of support for the nation’s law enforcement community, the producers of the iconic television show COPS are partnering with The Wounded Blue, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting injured and disabled law enforcement officers and their families. This collaboration aims to provide critical resources to officers in need by offering free attendance to the upcoming 5th Annual National Law Enforcement Survival Summit.
Hosted by The Wounded Blue in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 22-25, 2025, the four-day summit will focus on officer wellness and resilience, providing essential training in emotional, financial, physical, and career survival. The event is designed to help officers not only endure the challenges of modern policing but to thrive in their careers and personal lives.

Morgan Langley, executive producer of COPS, along with an anonymous donor, is providing funding to ensure that any law enforcement officer in America injured in the line of duty or suffering from PTSD/PTSI—and their spouse—can attend the summit for free. This unprecedented gesture removes financial barriers and makes these vital resources accessible to those who need them most.
“For more than three decades we have been working with police officers across this nation and have seen the effects of both physical and emotional injuries,” shared Morgan Langley. “We couldn’t be more proud than to team with The Wounded Blue to help heal those who have sacrificed so much.”
The summit’s theme, “emotional survival and law enforcement resilience,” resonates deeply with the mission of The Wounded Blue. “At The Wounded Blue, we live by the creed ‘Never Forgotten, Never Alone,'” said Lt. Randy Sutton (Ret.), Founder of The Wounded Blue, who will host the event. “This Survival Summit is about emotional survival and law enforcement resilience. Now more than ever, our brothers and sisters in blue need to know they are not alone in their struggles.”

The summit will feature a lineup of respected law enforcement instructors and speakers, including Captain Tom Rizzo, Sgt. John Kelly (Ret.), Dr. Trevor Wilkins, and Sgt. John Mattingly, among others. Attendees can participate in a variety of expert-led sessions covering topics such as trauma recovery, family wellness, financial strength, and policing reform. Notable sessions include “Positive Impacts in Policing” and “Duty Driven Deterioration.” The conference will also feature interactive peer-support events like the popular “Campfire Conversations,” where officers can share personal stories in a confidential and supportive environment.
The 5th Annual National Law Enforcement Survival Summit is open to all active and retired law enforcement officers, police leaders, spouses, and peer supporters. Registration includes access to all training sessions and keynote talks, with breakfast and lunch provided each day. The event will be held at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where special lodging rates are available for attendees.
