Creepy: Florida Man Arrested After Recording A Depicted Mass Shooting

A 20-year-old Florida man has been arrested after recording a depicted mass shooting from his backyard toward a busy road and parking lot.

Detectives with the Gulfport Police Department arrested 20-year-old Ter’on Jerome Forrester, on charges of written threats to kill or conduct a mass shooting, a second-degree felony in Florida.

On Saturday, 06/26/21, Ter’on Forrester posted a public video to a social media platform which depicted him holding an AR-15 style pistol, equipped with an extended magazine inserted and with a scope attached.

Forrester pointed the firearm at a busy roadway and parking lot, where two fully marked Gulfport Police Department vehicles were parked, civilian vehicles, and two PSTA buses passed through the barrel and scopes line of sight.

The video was captioned “bored af” “got 40 fa dey ass” followed by laughing with tears of joy emoji face. The video was taken from Forrester’s backyard at 4800 15th Ave S, St Petersburg, FL.

On Wednesday, Gulfport detectives, with the assistance of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies, located and arrested Forrester.

Forrester was issued a Risk Protection Order, which is designed to enhance public safety by restricting firearm and ammunition possession by a person who poses a danger to himself/herself or others.

The firearm used in this incident was recovered by law enforcement during the investigation.

The firearm did not belong to Forrester; however, he did have access to it, and police say it was purchased legally.

Forrester is currently being held in the Pinellas County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
