TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa police are working to piece together what happened after a woman’s body was discovered late Sunday morning.
The investigation began just before 10:45 a.m. when officers were called to the 6400 block of South Dale Mabry Highway. A passerby or witness had reported seeing an unresponsive person in the area. When police arrived at the scene, they confirmed the individual was an adult woman and pronounced her dead.
Authorities have not yet released the woman’s name or her age, and have not said if foul play is suspected.
