Authorities Working to Identify Individual, No Foul Play Suspected
VENICE, Fla. – Venice Police officers are currently investigating the discovery of a deceased swimmer found at Venice Beach Saturday. Authorities confirmed that there are no immediate signs of foul play, though the investigation remains active.
Emergency services were dispatched to the beach following reports of an unresponsive individual in the water. Upon arrival, the swimmer was confirmed deceased at the scene.

“At this time, there are no signs of foul play. Authorities are working to identify the individual and notify next of kin. We will provide updates as more information becomes available,” said the Venice Police Department.
