PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies assigned to Pinellas Safe Harbor arrested 24-year-old, Giovanni Lucas for sexual battery.
On April 10, 2021, deputies were advised of an incident that occurred earlier in the morning involving two residents of Pinellas Safe Harbor, located at 14840 49th Street North in Clearwater.
Investigators sat that through various investigative techniques, deputies learned that the victim was approached by Lucas inside Pinellas Safe Harbor. The victim stated Lucas touched her breasts and offered her money in exchange for sexual favors.
During the encounter Lucas sexually battered the victim. On Tuesday, deputies arrested Lucas and transported him to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
The victim is a 41-year-old female and per Florida Statue 415.107(1) no further information will be released on the victim.
