LAKELAND, Fla. – The 10th Judicial Circuit’s Officer-Involved Deadly Incident (OIDI) Task Force has been deployed to the scene of a deputy-involved shooting that took place this afternoon on Saturn Street in Lakeland.
The incident, which involved a deputy from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, resulted in the suspect being injured and subsequently transported from the scene by Polk Fire Rescue.
Officials have confirmed that no deputies were injured during the incident.
