Governor Ron DeSantis announced four appointments to central Florida college leadership teams, naming three returning trustees to Valencia College and one new member to Polk State College.
For the Valencia College District Board of Trustees, DeSantis reappointed Blair Bradley, Sean Milligan, and Tracey Stockwell.
Bradley is a former analyst for North American Reserve Corporation who holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and managerial studies from Rice University. In her local community, she volunteers as a STEM tutor, participates in the Parent Teacher Association, and acts as an alumni interviewer for the Rice Alumni Volunteer Association.
Milligan serves as the president of Gatlin Mill. His corporate background includes tenures as vice president of GWSI, Inc., senior director of supply chain operations for GXO Logistics, Inc., and director of supply chain solutions for Hillebrand. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and global logistics from the College of Charleston.
Stockwell is the chief financial officer for Universal Orlando. Her civic background includes serving as the treasurer of the Universal Orlando Foundation and as a member of the Orlando Economic Partnership Executive Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Windsor.
Separately, Governor DeSantis appointed John Webb to the Polk State College District Board of Trustees. Webb is a long-term community fixture, having lived in Polk County for more than 55 years. He is the owner and broker of Webb’s Realty, and is also involved with Webb’s Car Wash and Webb’s Candy Shop. Webb earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
All four of the announced appointments require formal confirmation by the Florida Senate.
