Authorities in Florida have arrested 32-year-old Evan Daniel Kaufman following an investigation into allegations of sexual assault and the unauthorized distribution of intimate recordings.
Kaufman was taken into custody on Wednesday, February 11, by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and is facing a series of felony charges, including sexual battery, sexual cyber harassment, and video voyeurism.
The investigation, led by the Special Assault Unit, began in June 2025. According to detectives, several women reported engaging in consensual sexual acts with Kaufman under the agreement that the encounters would remain private.

However, investigators allege that Kaufman recorded these incidents and subsequently uploaded the footage to various adult websites. In many instances, the victims’ full names were reportedly included in the video titles or descriptions.
As the probe deepened, detectives uncovered more severe allegations. Evidence suggests that Kaufman engaged in sexual battery against at least one victim who was unconscious and under the influence of alcohol.
A separate report of video voyeurism involved another victim who was also allegedly incapacitated by alcohol at the time of the recording.

Law enforcement officials believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. They are asking anyone who recognizes Kaufman or suspects he may have recorded or shared images of them without consent to contact the Special Assault Unit directly at 904-630-2168.
Public records show this is not Kaufman’s first encounter with local law enforcement. Police released two photos of the suspect: a mugshot from a 2019 arrest for Driving Under the Influence and a current photo taken this week following his most recent booking.
The department emphasized their goal is to ensure all potential victims receive justice as the legal process moves forward.
