Law Enforcement is seeking to identify a man that police say approached a minor boy in a bathroom at a beach last week.

According to deputies, a 13-year-old boy told detectives he was approached by an adult male whom he did not know at around 7:15 p.m. Monday at a Vanderbilt Beach restroom.

The boy told his mother about the encounter and the incident was reported to Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives said the man is described as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 180-200 pounds with bleached blond hair and brown eyes.

He was tan, clean-shaven, and had three piercings in both earlobes. He was wearing blue shorts and a white tank top. Detectives said he spoke broken English with a heavy accent.

Detectives have released this composite of the man.
