NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Authorities in Pasco County are asking for the public’s help to identify a man involved in a recent theft at a local business.

According to investigators with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on the afternoon of January 24. At approximately 3:35 p.m., an unidentified individual entered an establishment located within the 6100 block of State Road 54 in New Port Richey and stole items before leaving the scene.

Deputies have released a description of the suspect based on surveillance footage and witness accounts. The individual is described as a Black male with a beard.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who was in the area at the time or recognizes the man from the description to come forward. Small details that seem insignificant could be the key to closing the case.
