ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the Addlestone Ave. area of Zephyrhills around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to preliminary information, the incident stemmed from an argument between two adult men. The dispute escalated, resulting in one of the men shooting the other.
The adult male victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment and is listed in critical but stable condition. The suspected shooter was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office has indicated that this was an isolated incident, and they assure the public that there is no ongoing safety threat. The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is active and ongoing.
