NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is investigating two connected drive-by pellet gun incidents that occurred within minutes of each other on the evening of October 13, and is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.

The first incident occurred around 8:25 p.m. when an unidentified suspect, driving an unknown vehicle south on Lake Drive in New Port Richey, fired a pellet gun into a residential home. The projectile caused minor property damage, but fortunately, no one inside the residence was harmed.

Just five minutes later, around 8:30 p.m. the same evening, a second, more serious incident was reported. A juvenile woman who was driving south on Moon Lake Road near the intersection of Corta Avenue, also in New Port Richey, was struck by a pellet that entered her vehicle through an open window. The juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is reported to be safe.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office believes the incidents are connected and is actively seeking information regarding the suspect and vehicle involved in these attacks.

Authorities urge anyone with information or knowledge of the suspect’s identity to contact the Pasco Sheriff’s Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488. Callers should refer to case numbers 25034738 (for the residential shooting) and 25034708 (for the juvenile being struck).
