Early Morning Altercation In Seffner Leaves One Man Dead

SEFFNER, Fla. – Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a fatal stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in a Seffner neighborhood.

The incident began just after midnight on March 1, 2026. The Hillsborough County 911 Dispatch Center received a call at 12:22 a.m. reporting a physical altercation occurring in the 6400 block of Black Dairy Road.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered an adult male with significant trauma to his upper body.

Emergency medical personnel quickly transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff, the man later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Investigators remained at the scene throughout the morning to collect evidence and speak with potential witnesses. As of now, the Sheriff’s Office has not released the identity of the victim or provided details regarding any potential suspects. The investigation is active and ongoing.
