POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A disturbance at a Wahneta gas station early Saturday morning resulted in the arrest of a Winter Haven man with outstanding felony warrants.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call regarding a “disturbance” at the Citgo fuel station located at 3074 Rifle Range Road in Wahneta around 1:00 a.m. on March 8th.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the individual causing the disturbance had attempted to leave the area. However, they quickly located and apprehended the man, identified as 56-year-old Richard Hidalgo of Winter Haven.
A subsequent check revealed that Hidalgo had active Polk County felony warrants for Violation of Probation (theft) and Failure to Appear (trespass).

Hidalgo was arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail.
