HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A commercial structure fire at Brian’s Place restaurant in Hernando Beach was swiftly contained by Hernando County Fire Rescue (HCFR) in the early hours of Tuesday morning, preventing significant damage and ensuring no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred just after 3:30 a.m. when HCFR units were dispatched to the popular local eatery located in Hernando Beach.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed flames coming from the side of the building. Crews immediately initiated an aggressive fire attack, successfully knocking down the fire and limiting damage to an exterior wall section of the kitchen area.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire originated from an electrical issue inside the wall where the flames were first spotted. Fortunately, the interior walls of the kitchen, where the fire occurred, were lined with stainless steel.

This crucial safety feature prevented the fire from spreading into the building, minimizing potential damage and allowing firefighters to contain the blaze quickly.
