TAMPA, Fla. – A man with an extensive violent criminal history and 18 active felony warrants is back in custody after escaping from a court-ordered mental hospital in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Dallas Dishman Jr., 36, after locating him inside a vehicle during a targeted traffic stop.
Dishman now faces multiple charges, including escape from a civil or forensic facility, robbery by sudden snatching, possession of a controlled substance, and 18 counts of arrest on capias or bench felony warrants.
He remains in custody at the Hillsborough County Jail.
