Evidence Smashed But Not Lost: Tampa Man Facing 100 Child Pornography Counts

TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa man is behind bars today after Hillsborough County detectives say they caught him trying to destroy a mountain of digital evidence during a raid on his home.

The investigation came to a head on April 16, 2026, when the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Internet Predator Unit arrived at a residence on Cedar Trace Circle. Investigators had tracked child pornography downloads to that specific location and moved in to execute a search warrant.

Upon entering the home, detectives discovered 31-year-old Antionce Bravo in the middle of a desperate attempt to wipe his digital footprint. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Bravo tried to physically destroy several devices, including a laptop, two desktop computers, and a cell phone.

The effort proved unsuccessful, as detectives were able to recover child sexual abuse materials from the damaged hardware.

The evidence found on the scene led to a massive list of charges. Bravo was booked on 100 counts of possession of child pornography involving ten or more images.

He also faces charges for the distribution or possession of images involving sexual activity with an animal, four counts of tampering with physical evidence, and the unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

Sheriff Chad Chronister didn’t mince words regarding the nature of the arrest or the suspect’s attempt to evade the law.

“These crimes are among the most heinous we investigate,” Chronister said. “Despite this individual’s attempt to destroy evidence, our team acted quickly to secure what was needed to hold him accountable.”

Bravo was taken into custody without further incident. While the arrest marks a significant step in the case, HCSO officials noted that the investigation into Bravo’s digital activity remains active.
