A Florida man sporting a “fast money” tattoo on his face is behind bars after police say he fired a gun because a stranger wouldn’t give him a single dollar bill.

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon in the Little River neighborhood of Miami. Police say Fernando de Carvalho, 28, walked up to a group of three men sitting on a street corner. He reportedly singled one of them out and asked for a dollar.

When the man told de Carvalho he didn’t have any cash and turned to walk away, things took a violent turn. The victim told officers he suddenly heard a gunshot ring out behind him.

Witnesses at the scene said de Carvalho started acting erratically. They told police he pointed the weapon directly at the man and threatened, “I will shoot you.”

Officers arrived quickly and found de Carvalho close to the scene. They also discovered a shell casing on the ground, backing up the stories from witnesses.

Police arrested de Carvalho and charged him with aggravated assault with a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm. As of the latest reports from WPLG, he is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,500 bond.
