Fatal Brooksville Crash and Fire Early Friday Morning

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – An early morning vehicular crash in Brooksville, leaves one man dead.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a man traveling northbound on US-41, north of Pine Cabin Road, at a high rate of speed, collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer around 3:15 a.m. Friday morning. The car overturned after impact and caught on fire. The driver, who’s details have not been released, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 39-year-old man from Brooksville, sustained no injuries according to FHP.
