Fiery Crash On I-275 Claims Life Of Largo Man Saturday Morning

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old man from Largo died following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County earlier today. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred around 11:10 a.m. near milepost 30.

State troopers reported that the man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado southbound when, for reasons still under investigation, he lost control of the pickup truck. The vehicle veered off the paved road and onto the shoulder, where it slammed into a traffic sign support pole. The impact caused the truck to burst into flames.
