PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – With the 2026 municipal elections just around the corner, Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley is sounding the alarm for voters who want to skip the lines.
If you’re planning to vote from your kitchen table, you have until 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, April 2nd, to get your request into the elections office. Requests can be handled quickly online at PascoVotes.gov or by calling 800-851-8754.
If you miss the mail-out window, you can still grab a ballot in person at any of the three elections’ offices until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13th. Just don’t wait until Election Day to try a pickup.
Florida law is pretty strict about that; unless you have a documented emergency that keeps you from your polling place, you can’t pick up a mail ballot on the actual day of the election.
If you’re sending a friend or family member to pick up your ballot for you, they’ll need a written note from you, a photo ID, and they’ll have to sign an affidavit before the office hands it over.

Getting the ballot back on time is the most important part. To count, every voted ballot must be physically inside the elections’ office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, April 14th. This includes anything coming through the USPS, so it’s a good idea to mail them early.
It is also important to remember that you cannot drop off a mail ballot at your local polling precinct on Election Day. If you want to see where your ballot is in the process, you can track it at pascovotes.ballottrax.net/voter/.
For those who want to study up before they head to the polls, sample ballots are already posted at PascoVotes.gov.
Remember, these specific municipal elections are only for residents living within the city limits of Dade City, New Port Richey, and Port Richey, or the town limits of St. Leo.
