HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – On Sunday, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews from the Brandon area responded to a structure fire on West Bloomingdale Ave.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when the first engine arrived on the scene.
Commercial buildings flanked the residential structure that a nearby business owner reported being vacant.
Fire crews determined the residential structure to be untenable and started a defensive attack with their focus on preventing any fire spread or damage to the adjacent structures.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and no injuries were reported.
