U.S. military forces launched lethal strikes against two vessels in the Eastern Pacific on Thursday, leaving five suspected narco-terrorists dead in an operation directed by Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The operation, carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear, targeted boats operating in international waters along established drug trafficking corridors.

According to military reports, intelligence confirmed the vessels were under the control of Designated Terrorist Organizations and were actively engaged in moving narcotics at the time of the engagement.

Officials stated the “kinetic strikes” resulted in the deaths of all five men on board the two craft—three on the first vessel and two on the second.

The military confirmed there were no U.S. casualties during the operation.

Thursday’s action marks a continued aggressive stance by the Department against convergence points where drug trafficking and terrorism intersect. Authorities have not yet released the specific identities of the individuals killed or the exact quantity of narcotics potentially seized or destroyed in the strikes.
