U.S. House candidate Nathaniel Snyder is urging Florida voters to oppose what he calls “corporate overreach” and “government intrusion” by voting against Amendments 3 and 4 in the upcoming election. Snyder framed both amendments as threats to personal freedom and parental rights.

Amendment 3 – The Corporate Power Grab

Snyder criticized Amendment 3, which focuses on marijuana legalization, as a ploy by large corporations to monopolize the cannabis industry. He emphasized that under the proposed amendment, citizens would be prohibited from growing their own marijuana, forcing them to rely solely on big businesses for access.

“They call it freedom, but under Amendment 3, you’re barred from growing your own. This isn’t about personal liberty; it’s about ensuring you remain dependent on big businesses,” Snyder stated.

He added that the amendment would create a corporate monopoly and lead to an increase in government regulation and bureaucracy, benefiting only those who can navigate it.

Amendment 4 – Erosion of Parental Rights

Snyder expressed concern over Amendment 4, which he argued threatens parental rights, especially regarding minors seeking abortions. He warned that the amendment’s vague language about the “best interest of the child” could undermine parents’ authority to guide their children’s upbringing.

“This amendment isn’t about choice; it’s about removing parents from the equation,” Snyder said, opposing efforts to eliminate parental consent requirements. He further criticized the amendment for potentially allowing late-term abortions, framing it as government overreach into personal and moral family decisions.

A Call to Action

Snyder urged voters to send a message to state leaders by voting “No” on both amendments, stating, “We must reject the false promises of freedom that only serve to enrich corporations and expand government control.”

  • Vote NO on Amendment 3 to oppose corporate monopolies and protect personal freedom in cannabis use.
  • Vote NO on Amendment 4 to safeguard parental rights and prevent government overreach.

“Together, we can safeguard our freedoms, our rights, and our state’s future,” Snyder concluded, emphasizing the need for Floridians to keep power in the hands of the people.

Nathaniel Snyder is running for the U.S. House in Florida’s District 14 and has made opposing these amendments a central part of his campaign platform.
