A former Florida boat builder, Todd Allen Lamb, faces a maximum of 32 1/2 years in prison after an Ohio jury found him guilty of scamming boat owners across six states.

Lamb, 51, was convicted by a jury in Logan County, Ohio, on Friday, Oct. 31, of six counts of felony theft, one count of defrauding creditors, and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, according to Peak Of Ohio.

The victims were defrauded in states including Delaware, New Jersey, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Lamb had moved his company, Spectre Powerboats, from central Ohio to DeLand Municipal Airport in Volusia County, Florida, in 2021.

The Ohio charges stem from alleged criminal activity dating back to 2017, during which the builder reportedly took money for custom-built boats—in one Ohio case, totaling over $300,000—but never delivered the vessels or returned the funds.

Todd Allen Lamb was arrested following the verdict and is scheduled to be sentenced on November 26. A case against his ex-wife, Karen Nicole Lamb, who was also indicted on nine counts in Ohio, is still pending.
