Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis’ Committee Pulls In $75K

State Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis’ political committee raised $75,000 from Aug. 20 to Aug. 26 as he prepares for the November election, according to a newly filed finance report.

State Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis’ political committee raised $75,000 from Aug. 20 to Aug. 26 as he prepares for the November election, according to a newly filed finance report.

The Treasure Florida committee had about $3.46 million in cash on hand as of the end of last week. Contributions during the latest period included $25,000 from Baldwin Risk Partners, a Tampa insurance firm; $5,000 from the Pfizer pharmaceutical company; and $5,000 from a Florida Retail Federation political committee.

Patronis, a Republican, also raised $6,201 for his campaign account during the period, and the account had about $1.06 million in cash on hand.

Patronis will face Democrat Adam Hattersley, a former state House member from Hillsborough County, in the November election. Hattersley raised $6,016 for his campaign account during the period and had about $9,000 on hand.
