Florida Cold Case Files: Three Unsolved Murders

The following cases are currently unsolved but police are continuing to investigate diligently as new leads come in.  Please help bring the persons responsible for these crimes to justice.

Angel Harris– On Saturday, June 25, 2011, at approximately 7:30 pm, the body of Angel Harris, a 31-year-old white female was discovered, hidden behind a row of bushes on the side of the Sun Center – 235 S. Main St.  Evidence indicated Harris had been strangled the night before. 

She was a known prostitute and drug user.  Harris was last seen alive in the area of the St. Francis House on the night of her death.

Patrick Williams– On Monday, August 9, 2010, at approximately 10:30 pm, Officers responded to 1421 NE 20th Pl in reference to a 911 call of a person shot. 

When officers arrived they found Williams on the front porch of the residence.  Williams had been shot and was still alive.  Officers administered First Aid and CPR until EMS arrived. Williams was pronounced deceased at Shand’s Hospital. 

The investigation revealed that Williams was involved in some sort of struggle on the porch and was shot by the assailant.  A witness observed a black male running from the residence and the investigation revealed there may have been additional suspects involved.

Stacey Brown– On Monday, January 4, 2010, at approximately 9:15 pm, Patrol Officers responded to 5811 NW 23rd Ter. (Pine Ridge) in response to a 911 call. 

The resident called to report a Home Invasion Robbery where the suspects shot Stacey Brown.  Two light-skinned black males, armed with handguns, entered the apartment where Brown was a guest. 

As they exited the apartment, one of the suspects shot Brown once.  She was mortally injured and died on the scene. Police say the suspects may have fled the scene in a silver sedan.
