Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of Adam Cervera to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors.
Cervera, a prominent legal figure and active member of the Broward County community, will bring his experience to the state body overseeing high school sports.
The newly appointed director is a Shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., a notable law firm. Cervera’s involvement in education governance is extensive; he currently represents District 6 as a member of the School Board of Broward County. He has also served in leadership within the legal community, including a tenure as Chair of the Florida Bar’s Eleventh Circuit Grievance Committee.
Cervera’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Central Florida and a juris doctor from Florida International University.
