On November 4, 2022, at 10:34 pm, an unknown pickup truck, black in color, struck a 47-year-old, Englewood man, in the McDonalds Parking Lot, located at 13418 McCall Road, Port Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a pedestrian hit and run, and hoping that the public can identify who owns the suspect vehicle.

According to investigators, on November 4, 2022, at 10:34 pm, an unknown pickup truck, black in color, struck a 47-year-old, Englewood man, in the McDonalds Parking Lot, located at 13418 McCall Road, Port Charlotte.

Troopers say the man sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital and the pickup truck fled the scene.

The crash remains under criminal investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The photo captured (above) shows what appears to be a Ford F350 pickup truck, as it fled the scene. A video of the truck can be seen below as posted by FHP.
