The Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Division continues to investigate the hit and run fatal traffic crash that occurred on November 18, 2021, in Highlands County.
According to troopers, a 34-year-old Avon Park woman was killed in the crash.
Through the course of the investigation, troopers have determined the vehicle involved, to be a white semi-truck with a sleeper cabin, towing a flatbed trailer.
An image of the semi-truck was captured on security camera footage.
If anyone has information regarding the driver of the semi-truck, contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimestoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
