Florida House Speaker Chris Sprowls Endorses Kevin Hayslett In Congressional FL-13

CLEARWATER, Fla. – On Tuesday, Florida Speaker of the House Chris Sprowls, announced his official endorsement of fellow Republican Kevin Hayslett for Congress in Florida’s 13th Congressional District.

Sprowls currently represents Florida’s 65th House District located in Northern Pinellas County, which is a part of Florida’s 13th Congressional District.

Sprowls was first elected to the Florida State Legislature in 2014 and has served as Florida Speaker of the House since 2020. During his time in the Florida legislature, Sprowls has consistently pushed for free market policies that relieve small businesses from Government burden, and has fought for transparency in the health care system so working families aren’t hit with surprise medical bills after their hospital visits.

“Kevin is a Pinellas County leader with a results-oriented vision for our country,” stated Sprowls. “His passion for our community is matched only by his devotion to his family. Our country needs selfless, conservative leaders who confront our challenges head on with courage and conviction. I know Kevin will do just that in Congress and I’m proud to call him a friend and even more proud to endorse him to represent Pinellas County in Congress.”

“I could not be more honored to receive Speaker Sprowls’ support. He has shown this community and this state what a true fighter he is, and I’m eager to do the same in Congress,” stated Hayslett. “We need real conservatives in Congress who will stand up to the Biden-Pelosi regime and that’s exactly what I intend to do.”

Sprowls is the latest local leader to put their support behind Hayslett, who is Law Enforcements’ choice to represent Pinellas County in Congress.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd joined Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri and former Sheriff Jim Coats in backing former prosecutor Kevin Hayslett.

In May, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said, “Kevin Hayslett has earned the backing of the law enforcement community because he is a candidate we can trust to be tough on crime and back the blue at this critical time in our country. Florida needs strong leaders who will fight for us in Congress, and I’m proud to stand with Kevin Hayslett because he’ll stand with all law enforcement.”
